- Update Updating the app in the past few weeks fixed the notification issue.
- The latest update broke the phone’s notification controls. However, motion detection triggers a long noise, around 20 seconds, which is annoying.
- I, unfortunately, turned off notifications on my phone because of the annoyingly long sound.

- The Blue Iris serial number latest update changed my notification sound
How to Install it?
- Doesn’t show the notification sound I chose in the app settings, but it plays.
- Something different and it’s frustrating because it worked great for 2 years until the latest update, now I can barely hear it and it plays a different sound
- I had 2 moccasin incidents on my property last night and couldn’t hear the notification.
- Not nice at all!!! And the constant random fake notifications that someone is detected and no Blue Iris Product Key one is draining my battery!!! I use Lorex from Eco Eye.
- This app sometimes works for me.
- Sometimes I don’t get any notifications, visual or sound, and when I do, it’s only after the fact.
- It’s a good thing that I don’t have to rely on it in the event of a burglary.
